I also recently came across suretyship, which I was convinced was a made-up word, but turns out to be correct. Translation work is great for learning new words in both languages!<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Of all the languages you don\u2019t speak, which one would you most like to learn and why?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>I\u2019ve always wanted to learn a difficult and obscure language that could work like a secret code, but I lack the discipline. I think the Celtic languages are particularly lovely, especially Irish Gaelic and Welsh.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are you reading right now?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>I\u2019m usually in the middle of a bunch of things. Right now I\u2019m listening to an audiobook of She by H. Rider Haggard, rereading Doomsday Book by Connie Willis, and delving into a collection of short stories by L.M. Montgomery.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beer or wine?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Either, depending on the setting. Beer for thirst-quenching on a hot day, red wine for relaxing in the evening.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beach holiday or city break?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>I like the ocean, but I\u2019m not a fan of touristy beach resorts.
