Spring-clean your communications
By Richard Peters
As the sun’s kind rays start to shine down for longer on Munich, I can sense winter beginning to ebb away – and I get the urge to tidy away some of the clutter that has accumulated in my house over the darkest months of the year. And that welcome sense of renewal has also kindled a desire in me to finally write another blog post for Klein Wolf Peters; our own corporate communications stand to benefit from a dose of warmth and sunshine.
Spring is a time to take stock: What needs mending? What needs replacing? What can I do without? The essence of marketing is to convince people that your product or service is fantastic – but to tell them so in ways that are constantly fresh. As your business reaches out to its international customer base, it’s a good idea to have experts ensure your message stays exciting and hits home in every customer’s native tongue.
That’s where we come in. My colleagues and I aren’t just linguistically proficient: we are seasoned professionals who can draw on years of experience in the finer points of multilingual corporate communications. We take the messages our clients have spent time and effort crafting in their own language, and we come up with something equally compelling for readers or viewers in whichever language or languages our clients choose.
When people want to clear winter’s gloom from their house, they reach for brooms, mops, sponges, squeegees – the tools that will help get the job done most effectively. When it’s time for a company to communicate with people in a variety of languages, the tool to reach for is professional translation. Excellent translators and editors will take a chamois leather to the windows of your corporate communications – which are your company’s shop front, after all – and let your stakeholders see your business in all its glory!
I wish you all a most satisfying round of spring-cleaning in your international communications!
