What does it mean for a company to receive ISO certification?

ISO 9001 is a nationally and internationally recognised quality management standard. To be certified, a company must demonstrate compliance with comprehensive and practically applied processes concerning topics such as target and risk management, project and data processing, customer satisfaction, product development, and continuous improvement. In this way, ISO 9001 does more than reveal a company’s make-up, it is also of tremendous significance for its competitiveness.

How did our certification come about?

The founding of Klein Wolf Peters GmbH provided the ideal opportunity to logically structure our processes and define each step performed by all employees right from the start. So at the beginning of 2018, we invited an external consultant to help us analyse where we are and then to establish the ideal quality management system (QMS) and develop the required processes and documentation. After much effort, brainpower and self-discovery, the external audit took place on 8 August 2018 and we passed with flying colours.

What does certification mean for Klein Wolf Peters?

As a young company, it was important to us from the very beginning that we create a solid basis for our processes, so they can be understood, followed and developed by all colleagues. This would allow us to establish ourselves as a professional company in the eyes of our (potential) customers, one that has made a sustainable commitment to complying with quality assurance standards. It follows that our QMS provides the consistent foundation for our day-to-day activities and is transparent and binding for all colleagues.

What does this mean for our customers?

Our customers can rest assured that we will (continue to) process their projects efficiently and reliably and work to consistent standards. We not only value their feedback, we feed it directly into our target- and risk-management activities. Through regular training, internal and external process monitoring and dialogue – within the team and with our customers – we pursue our goal of continuous improvement. It goes without saying that we would be happy to provide you with details about our QMS on request.

What’s next?

Certification will be renewed on a yearly basis in the form of monitoring and recertification audits. This will certainly keep us on our toes! It also demonstrates to our customers that our QMS is forward-looking and that we fully intend to adhere to and improve it.
