Happy birthday to us!

German

Just over a year ago, a group of like-minded individuals got together to form a company. In addition to offering premium translation, editing, copywriting and interpreting services, this was to be a fair and friendly company that looked after its customers and employees and invested in the future.

Even for people who know the business – and each other – very well, setting up a brand-new enterprise is always fraught with challenges. Luckily, everyone here at Klein Wolf Peters is a language services professional, and my colleagues and I are committed to making a success of this company. We have established a solid and respectable customer base in marketing and communications spanning a number of high-tech industries, expanded our in-house team, and are busy crafting press releases, magazine and research articles, blog posts, corporate reports and all the other kinds of communications we are lucky enough to get to work on.

Rare and well done

To mark our first anniversary, we decided to visit a steakhouse for a celebratory dinner – a choice that seems fitting regardless of how people like their beef. For what we have achieved is both rare and well done: Rare that a new company can hit the ground running with its people working seamlessly together towards shared success. And well done in the way we have orchestrated an efficient, effective and certified setup.

But before we moved on to the more festive part of the evening, we felt it was important to take an unhurried look at the feedback we had collected over the course of the year from our customers and colleagues. This review enabled us to come up with improvements to our processes, and to set our course for the future – thereby ensuring that we continue to offer our customers the highest quality of service in the years to come. As we started our dinner, we could be confident that we are on the right track.

After delicious food, we moved on to a beer tasting with selections from Bavaria’s own Camba brewery – a company quite as fanatical about their product as we are about ours. Here again there was something for every one of our writers, from those who prefer something smooth and subtle to others whose focus is more on strong and sharp. We reminisced about the events of the past 12 months and raised a glass to our triumphs, noting all the while that our enjoyment of the evening is matched by the pleasure we share in the work we do.

We also toasted all those who have helped and supported us on the journey so far – and if you’re reading this, that includes you too. Here’s to the next 12 months!
